It was an exciting three days of painting with the Ontario Society of Artists in Killarney Canada. If you ever want to feel like you are missing time or have been abducted from reality, just try painting plein air. As some call it the new GOLF, for the creative at heart.
I painted as Charlie photographed.. here is a mini preview of what will follow. The scenery was spectacular, the fall colors could not have been more vibrant.
Today we got a chance to drop into the Art Bar on Burleigh and see the show produced by those of us who brave the elements and in this case. go back to the studio and create. Thank you to whom ever purchased the sketch!
We have returned from a wonderful 10 days in Ireland. Our travel companions hailed from the Ontario Society of Painters, they were the best!
The time we spent in Dingle was the greatest, Carmel, our friend and tour director provided us with opportunities to paint, show our work, dine, drink, and LAUGH! Hope you enjoy seeing some of the work.
The music and beer is so enticing.. that staying out late has given early morning painting a problem..It is 10 AM and still not painting..
Heading to Connor Pass!
a long drive from Dublin, but really worth it. The scenery is outstanding, the artists here are ready to get out and paint. One courageous soul has already been out to paint this morning, she left the bed and breakfast 5 AM and returned by 9 with a finished work.
We have arrived! patiently awaiting our creative companions from the Ontario Society of artists...Still don't have this system under control, so enjoy the view from airplane window SIDEWAYS...
